Job duties

Official text in English.

Temporary Housekeeping Service Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at client properties. Duties include vacuuming floors, dusting, laundering and replenishing linens and towels, removing trash, stripping soiled linens, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, reporting lost and found items to Management, assisting with storage closets, performing weekly service checks, and emptying trash, lint traps, and vents. Attendants may occasionally use a company utility vehicle (e.g., golf cart) or company automobile (under 8,000 lbs. and under 15 passengers, such as an SUV, van, or pickup truck) to transport tools and necessary items within the worksite. Additional duties include walking assigned buildings or floors to ensure areas are free of linen, trash, or equipment; moving furniture and making guest deliveries as directed; assisting with linen inventories, including sorting and cleaning dirty linen/terry; folding or ironing clean linen/terry; and delivering linen supply bags to units. Employees assist in transporting housekeeping tools such as vacuums, brooms, mops, rags, and other cleaning supplies to guest rooms or units. Vehicles or utility vehicles may be used to deliver linens, terry, cleaning tools, and other necessary items within the resort or campus. Vehicle use is limited to on-site, work-related purposes only and does not include transporting guests or providing valet services. Guest deliveries may also be completed on foot. Only employees with valid driver’s licenses and employer authorization may operate vehicles; a license is not required if otherwise qualified. Vehicle use accounts for less than 5% of job duties. This role is primarily a housekeeping/cleaning position in a hotel or resort environment and is not a driving or transportation role.

Requirements

The petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience preferred but not required at a hotel, resort, private club or vacation homes; other hospitality or cleaning experience can be substituted.
