The workers will assist with the removal of snow and ice from properties and help install, maintain, and remove holiday lighting and decorations. The worker will perform snow removal tasks by shoveling snow from walkways, driveways, and entrances; operating snow blowers, salt spreaders, sidewalk machines, and other equipment; and applying de-icing materials to surfaces as needed. The job duties will be performed by hand or by operating a snow removal machine/vehicle, which includes tractors, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and/or work pick-up trucks. Specifically, the employee may be required to drive work vehicles equipped with snowplows as needed, contingent upon the level of snow accumulation. The worker will perform Holiday Décor responsibilities such as assisting in the installation of holiday lights and decorations on buildings, trees, and landscape features; by using ladders and hand tools to hang lights and secure decorations; The worker will also help with take-down and storage of lighting materials after the holiday season; The worker will ensure all work is completed safely and professionally. Additionally, the worker, by using bypass pruners, hedge shears, or string trimmers, depending on the plant size, will be responsible for performing cutbacks on perennial plants. The worker will also perform winterizing irrigation systems to prepare for the changing seasons. The workers will be required to drive work vehicles to/from or at worksites. The worker will be responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioning. The worker may be required to demonstrate how to perform an assignment to other employees at a supervisor's request.

Requisitos

Requires three (3) months of previous snow removal or related experience. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. Availability to work on weekends when needed. The Employer will provide on-the-job training to perform the duties assigned. The workers will be subject to drug testing before commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident, paid by the employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Post-hire background checks and employment eligibility (e-Verify) checks are required for foreign and domestic workers. Each applicant (U.S. and H-2B workers alike) must complete the Employers standard online employment application as part of the hiring process. The application is uniformly required of all candidates and does not impose additional or different requirements on U.S. workers.
