Job duties

Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS. Operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will transport materials, supplies or crops from fields or bin storage to designated locations of local elevators. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be team players when needed. Requirements: - Employees have valid driver’s license or obtain one in 60 days. - Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. - NO TEXTING. - No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds. - No drinking alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged. - Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons. - No Educational level required. - Less than three months experience with operating farm machinery" Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English for safety reasons and record keeping. Must be able to communicate with owners and other employees about jobs and various tasks.

Requirements

Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 60 days. Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls of the operation only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, fields or housing units. Drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited during working hours and otherwise discouraged. No Educational level required. Strong fencing back ground. Must have three months tractor driving with towed implements. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Housing

Double Story House - Wooden Structure. 4 bedrooms (one bedroom is big enough for two beds) 3 bath Fully furnished kitchen Washer and Dryer onsite Also furnished with Heat, AC, TV, Internet, First Aid Kits and Fire Extinguishers Total Capacity 5 - only 3 will be needed for this application. Housing is owned by Fast Seed Company

Transportation

Upon completion of 50% of the contract, the Employer will reimburse the worker's cost of (inbound) airfare and daily subsistence, a minimum reimbursement of $ 16.78 per day and a maximum reimbursement of $ 68.00 per day receipts required from place of recruitment to placement of work. Once 100% completion of contract the employer will pay (outbound) airfare return cost to the place of recruitment, except when the worker does not return to the place of recruitment or an extension has been filed
