Workers will perform pollination, detasseling, field maintenance, data collection, harvest, seed processing, and other general farm labor tasks as required. Other duties include: Planting (machine and manually by digging furrow and covering after seed drop), cultivating, and harvesting diversified crops, such as: corn, soy, watermelon, pumpkins, honeydew, kabocha, onions, and other vegetable and fruit crops as required. Workers will weed or thin plants using hoe or gardening tools. Set out poles and strings, wire or twine to build trellises or fences. Position, tie leaves, prune limbs, runners, buds from vines on plants such as cucumber (all cucurbits crops), beans or all vine crops. Set irrigation line, check for leaks, flush out debris and repair lines to irrigate seedlings. May use irrigation trailer, fertilizer injector, sprayers, trailers, farm machines, and operate tractors/farm trucks with implements such as plow/harrow, disk, bed shaper, roll tiller, fertilizer hopper, seed driller/planter, manure/sand spreader and soil spreader, in fields, to till soil, plant, cultivate, and tender for crops. Harvest crops by picking, pulling, cleaning, cutting, sorting, bagging, and boxing. Workers may be asked to drive farm equipment such as tractor and forklifts and work in packing house with is located on the farm. Los trabajadores realizarán tareas de polinización, eliminación de panojas (*detasseling*), mantenimiento del campo, recolección de datos, cosecha, procesamiento de semillas y otras labores agrícolas generales según sea necesario. Instalarán postes y cuerdas, alambres o cordeles para construir espalderas o cercas. Colocarán, atarán hojas y podarán ramas, guías y brotes de plantas trepadoras o rastreras, como pepinos (y todas las cucurbitáceas), frijoles y otras plantas de enredadera. Instalarán líneas de riego, verificarán si hay fugas, purgarán residuos y repararán las líneas para regar las plántulas. Podrán utilizar remolques de riego, inyectores de fertilizante, pulverizadores, remolques y maquinaria agrícola, así como operar tractores o camiones agrícolas con implementos tales como arados, gradas, discos, formadores de camas de cultivo, cultivadoras rotativas, tolvas de fertilizante, sembradoras, esparcidores de estiércol, arena o tierra, para labrar el suelo, sembrar, cultivar y cuidar los cultivos. Realizarán la cosecha mediante actividades de recolección, arranque, limpieza, corte, clasificación, embolsado y empaquetado en cajas. Es posible que se solicite a los trabajadores conducir maquinaria agrícola, como tractores y montacargas, y trabajar en la planta de empaque ubicada en la misma explotación agrícola.

Housing

Each worker will be provided with their own bed. Family housing is not available and is not prevailing practice in the area of intended employment. Cada trabajador recibirá su propia cama. No hay disponibilidad de viviendas familiares ya que no es una práctica prevaleciente.

Transportation

For workers recruited outside the area of intended employment, transportation and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed by the employer in accordance with 20 CFR § 655.122(h).
