Job duties

General farm labor, including but not limited to planting, irrigating, cultivating, and harvesting sod; maintaining and servicing farm equipment; driving and maintaining farm equipment including but not limited to tractors, vehicles, lawn mowers, and weed eaters. Workers may receive wage increases and merit-based bonuses based upon merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 55 lbs. Must have 2 months' experience in turfgrass production and/or landscaping industry. Must be able to use forklifts, sod harvesters, and tractors. Must be able to perform maintenance on farming equipment and trucks.

Housing

3 bedrooms / 1 bathroom with fully furnished kitchen, living, dining, and laundry areas.

Transportation

For transportation to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (i.e., inbound) and from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed (i.e., outbound), the employer will pay for the airline ticket(s) for the worker or permit the worker to select any means of transportation they choose to be reimbursed for at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
