We are a large farming operation that has 10,000 acres of row crops primarily in the Missouri river bottoms and in the hills along it. We install irrigation systems on our own farms, do tile work on our own farms, and spread all our own fertilizer across those acres. We are looking for farm employees to help us get our farms ready over the winter while crops are out of the fields. Their duties will consist of installing tile using tractors on our own farms in the fields while the crops are out over the winter in the hills to reduce wet spots. Employees will be constructing new irrigation systems on the fields we have in the river bottoms while the crops are out to reduce crop failures. Another job duty will be applying fertilizer with applicators before spring planting time. They will also be preforming ditch cleaning with heavy equipment while the crops are out due to the flooding along the Missouri river. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of each pay period at the employer’s discretion. Returning workers for more than 1 year will be paid the same hourly rate they received during the prior season if that rate is higher than the current minimum required wage.
