Driver will check the tire pressure of every trailer hooked up before beginning to travel to make sure the pressure is adequate. Driver will add air if needed. If driver is pulling boxes, the boxes are secured using six (6) metal cable racks and cables that are mounted to each trailer. Driver will use a metal rod to place the racks, Three (3) on each side, at the front and back corners and in the middle of the top row of boxes. The cable is then lifted up and hooked to each rack, swung around the back of the trailer and secured to the opposite side. The cable is then wrenched down tight using a metal bar. Driver will then travel to specified location, obeying all traffic laws and drop his trailer. The load may require tarping. The tarp is rolled up and carried on the back of the semi. Driver will then pull the truck and trailer through the tarp rack and lower the tarp onto the loaded trailer and secure the tarp to the trailer. Once the load has been delivered, driver will remove the tarp if a tarp was required, lay the tarp flat on the ground, and roll it up and place the tarp on the back of the semi.
