Workers will use a long-handled hoe (4ft or more in length) for weeding/hoeing fields of celery. Harvesting and packing celery. Harvesting celery stalks with an 8-inch celery knife making a diagonal cut at the bottom of the stalk. Then it's put on the machine table where it's packed in bags then into a box that weighs between 40-to 50 lb pushed on the conveyor belt and then loaded into the trailer. Employees are to be experienced in both cutting and packing due to their everyday rotation. Loading boxes of product onto truck. Operate agricultural equipment such as tractor. Workers may be asked to drive in the fields, clean, and perform inspections on product. Housing

Housing is only available to non-local workers (permanent residence outside normal commuting distance) and is not offered to non-working family members. Employer possesses and controls premises at all times. Female workers will be provided bedroom and bathroom facilities shared only with other female workers. Common areas of the housing may be shared with male workers. Workers must vacate housing promptly at end of contract period or upon termination, in accordance with state law.

Transportation

Employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier (e.g., van, bus, plane) transportation charges for the distances involved for both inbound and outbound transportation. Inbound transportation provided from the foreign worker's home city to the U.S. consulate and from the U.S. Consulate to the work site.
