Rice to include drive tractor, plow fields, planting & harvest rice crop; help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate motorized & push crawfish boats; frequent stooping and lifting traps from pond, repair traps as needed, load & unload trucks, wash & grade, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements; all tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost; housing on premises at no cost. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.

Whitney St., Crowley, LA 70526 - I-10 W. for 72.7 miles, Take the LA-1111 S Exit, Exit 82 toward East Crowley for 0.3 miles; turn left onto LA-1111/Tower Rd (continue to follow Tower Rd. for .7 miles, turn right onto US-90/E. Hutchinson Ave. for 74.8 miles, turn left onto N. Eastern Ave/US-90 S for 1.5 miles - N Eastern Ave. becomes LA-13 to Hwy. 92 W for approx. 1.5 miles to Muskrat Rd. & Hwy. 92.

Transportation

The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to groups of H-2A or U.S. workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved to and from the place of employment.
