Our story
Look Jobs started in 2012 as a manual, local job placement service: resumes, contacts with employers and referrals, person to person.
In 2023 that work went digital: the look-jobs.com website was born, open to candidates and employers in Brazil, the United States, Canada and Mexico, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. In 2026 the site was completely renewed and modernized.
Why are there sometimes few jobs posted?
Jobs come and go every day: an employer posts a job, finds the right person and closes the listing, sometimes within a few days. So at times the list of jobs posted directly on Look Jobs may be short. Meanwhile, you can always find official U.S. temporary jobs and partner jobs in four countries — and, with your resume on file, you get notified when the right job comes up.
Today Look Jobs brings three audiences together in one place:
Candidates
Post their resume for free, apply to jobs and get e-mail updates at every step, including when a company opens their resume.
Companies and employers
Post jobs, filter resumes, ask screening questions and find candidates in all three countries.
Independent professionals
Electricians, house cleaners, caregivers, tutors, technicians and many others list their services and talk directly to customers.
What we believe in
- No middlemen: company and candidate (or customer and professional) talk directly. We charge no commission on salaries or services.
- No language barrier: with "Read in your language!", job posts, resumes and profiles are translated in one click.
- Trust: professionals can provide a background certificate and earn the "Verified" badge, and customers leave reviews.
- Fair for everyone: always free for candidates; companies start with free job posts; prices follow each country's currency.
